Their commitment and expertise ensure a supportive learning environment.Most of our staff have been with us over 5 years which means many students who started their IGCSE course and continued onto A level had the same teachers.

Claire has been a valued member of the Emerald Sixth Form Academy team for seven years, teaching Science, IGCSE Biology, and Health & Social Care. She is passionate about making science engaging and accessible, helping students develop the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to succeed in their studies.
Claire is committed to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Through her enthusiasm for science and healthcare education, she inspires students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong interest in the world around them.

Craig has been a dedicated member of the Emerald Sixth Form Academy team for nine years, teaching Physical Education, Business, and History across a range of year groups. His engaging and enthusiastic approach encourages students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a genuine interest in learning.
Craig is passionate about supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, creating a positive learning environment where every individual is encouraged to achieve their best. Amy has been a valued member of the Emerald Sixth Form Academy team since 2017. She teaches Business Studies and Psychology across GCSE, A Level, and BTEC programmes, inspiring students to develop confidence, critical thinking, and the skills they need for future success.
Alongside her teaching role, Amy is the school's Guidance Counsellor, providing pastoral support and helping students make informed decisions about their academic and personal development. Adam has been a valued member of the Emerald Sixth Form Academy team for three years, teaching BTEC ICT, BTEC Media, and BTEC Esports. Aoife has been a valued member of the Emerald Sixth Form teaching team for the past four years, where she teaches both GCSE and A Level English. Sina is a returning member of the Emerald Sixth Form teaching team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in teaching Mathematics at both GCSE and A Level. Having previously taught at Emerald, he is delighted to be back, continuing his passion for helping students develop confidence and success in mathematics.
