The programme of IGCSE is comprised of two year groups. Years 10 and 11. Students in year 10 are introduced to the programme of ICGSE and the continue with theirs studies in year 11. At this stage they sit their IGCSE exams.
IGCSE assessment takes place at the end of the course and can include written, oral, coursework and practical assessment. This broadens opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning, particularly when their first language is not English. In many subjects there is a choice between core and extended curricula, making IGCSE suitable for a wide range of abilities.
We offer a range of subjects at IGCSE level to build the foundation for students who wish to progress to A level.
